Ben was born and raised in Houston, Texas.

He attended two high schools (The High School for Performing and Visual Arts and The High School for Health Professions) and did not attend his zoned high school, Madison.

A natural desire for art was temporarily interrupted after working at a vet clinic during the summer. He promptly switched to a high school that prepared students for health professions.

Learned to be a Phlebotomist (lab blood collector) during his senior year in high school and used the skill to supplement his college education.

He owns and operates his own advertising studio.

Ben’s heritage is primarily American Indian and western European. His mother’s background is Blackfoot Indian and his father’s Comanche.

He is the middle child with a younger brother and an elder sister.

Benjamin has won numerous awards for his design work and illustration skills – including McSam Award, Addy Awards, Signs of the Times Design Award and Pillars of the Industry Awards.

He studied at the Art Institute of Dallas and graduated with honors as a fashion illustrator.

Was asked to produce his first film after landing the lead in the independent film, “Holding On.” He also was credited as Art Director.

His wife is Dona and they have two children.
